What We Believe
- We believe there is one God, manifested in three persons - God the Father, Jesus, and Holy Spirit
- We believe Jesus is the only begotten Son of God, who was sent to Earth to die for all, as a perfect and blameless sacrifice, to reconcile all of mankind to God and to establish a new covenant of grace from an old covenant of law. (2 Corinthians 5:21)
- We believe that three days after Christ was crucified, He rose from the grave(Luke 24), spent forty days on Earth appearing to people, teaching of the Kingdom of God ( Acts 1), ascended to Heaven, is sitting at the right hand of the Father, and will return one day for the saints.
- We believe that mankind is sinful, but if you believe in your heart that Jesus died and was risen, and receive His name, you receive Salvation, and you no longer are a sinner, but you are adopted as a son of God.
- We believe salvation is not simply a ticket to Heaven, but it is an adoption of sons and daughters by Father God - This frees us from the power of the devil, and empowers us to be ambassadors of Heaven, just as Jesus was, through the Holy Spirit enabling us to do the same things Christ did on the Earth.
- We believe the Baptism of the Holy Spirit is still available today and is marked with the gifts of the Spirt as listed in 1 Corinthians 12 - Word of Wisdom, Word of Knowledge, Faith, Healing, Miracles, Prophesy, Discernment, Speaking in Tongues and Interpretation of Tongues.
- We believe that it is not the Father's will that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
- We believe that ministry is not just a calling reserved for the "elite" of the church, but that as believers, we are to steward and release the presence and love of God wherever we go, and in whatever we are doing.
- We believe in developing a culture of Honor and Love, even to those who might not seem to deserve it. Our attitude towards others reflects our attitude towards God.
